New problem with Printer in XP

Within the last 24 hours I've developed a problem with my HP Laser Jet 4L in XP. I've been using both for about 3 mos with no problems, but yesterday it wouldn't print anything (Outlook, Word, Notepad, even the control prompt). The test function prints a page fine. I've tried disabling/enabling the LPT port and deleting and reinstalling the printer. I've ran McAfee virus scan and nothing shows up. Any have any suggestions?

try removing it and reinstalling...MAybe look for newer drivers.
