This is a question of curiosity ,I ordered a new PC including TV receptions & remote, do I need a special aerial to watch TV from anywhere in the world ?, is that possible ? , how is the colour ?,or did I waste my money ? .
I'm not a TV freak ,I only have 4 channels BBC & ITV and never lost any sleep over it , as I'm in a wheelchair permanently now ,its nice to watch sometimes American or German programme news .
Anecdote on 2 previously posts.-
Dell's sale rep. told me Friday , SP2 is preloaded , I went for a Cannon Prixma iP5200 printer & not a Dell .

I think you'll need more than an aerial to watch worldwide TV. You need to hook up to a satellite.

How are you currently watching German and American TV?

That's made me smile , hooking up with a wheelchair,
I work on the PC and liston to the radio on the same time with no problems from anywhere including Germany & USA on my Dell Pc which is over 4 years old.I thought after 4 years later it maybe possible with TV too, hence my question .

There are 2 types of watching tv.

Watching local tv require either a standard hookup to your current tv antenna or hookup to you cable.

As far as watching tv on the web have no idea.
