Everytime I sign in to MSN messenger it lets me know there is a newer version available. I've seen the new version and I don't like it, so I'll stick to the old one. Does anyone know how to stop MSN from telling me about the new version everytime I sign in? The only option available is "Don't remind me again for one week", which is so stupid because I'm really not going to change my mind during thge next week. So is there a regkey I can change or something?

Whats wrong with the new one? I upgraded it and it's miles better now. Better for web cams as well.
Once you download the add-ons, they don't install themselves, so it keeps reminding you to get it sorted.
Take the add-on and open it yourself and let it install.
No more problems.

The new wm sucks... mine doesn't even remember the settings for the interface.. everytime I double click the tray icon to access the main window the default settings have been restored. Very annoying. I'd say stick with the old one and try to figure out a way of getting rid of the update notification.. you could backup the regkey for messenger and install the new one to see what have change.. if some string is set to not notify about the new release
