I'm receiving a "new hardware found" message
for a Compaq IJ1400P printer. This same printer is already installed and operational. How do I remove this message?

just reinstall it throught the Found New Harware feature. Seems like your computer doesnt know that u have it installed. So just reinstall because I dont think u can remove that kind of dialog

If you unplug it, it's just like removing it, so reinstall it.
