The new email notification sound plays when i send a message to myself and click on send/receive and also if i just wait for the email to come in normally, but it doesn`t sound on all other incoming emails. I set all in sounds and devices-rules and alerts and tools>options etc., I understand that it may be possible to set the thing in the registry by typing in the full path and value data through start>run>regedit>ok etc., Can you tell me what to type in as full path and value data. Thank You

We are discussing this "hyperlink" (clickable link) stuff on another of your posts.

All you want on here is that "which if put in your browser address line would reach your image". If need be check them out this way first.

In most examples given above, all you want is the bit between htttp.......and......jpg (with nothing else either before or after this). Most image links end with jpg. One exception is where there is a question mark. You don't normally want or need anything after a question mark.

You always start with http. The back end garbage might take a little practice to work out what to strip away.

Until this is sorted out I would go to your saved image(s) online using your browser. When you reach it(them) just copy what appears in your address line and put that(those) into the forum on here.

Back to the subject of this post.

This bit confused me:
"The new email notification sound plays when i send a message to myself and click on send/receive and also if i just wait for the email to come in normally, but it doesn`t sound on all other incoming emails."

What are the "other" emails?

We need to know what email client you are using (Outlook Express or what)?

I sorted this out. New email notification sound doesn`t have to play when just opening Outlook because you are there. It sounds when Outlook is left open. I found this article by Ken Slovak-probably applies to Outlook 2007. Getting know the nature of the beast. Cheers
