I cannot help you with any lose screws you have,
but some electronic boards use the mounting screws as a way to complete the circuit to ground, hint, hint.

Did you bench test all the hardware before assembling the machine? This is really a hardware question and should have been posted in the appropriate (General Hardware) Forum.

The mainboard requires standoffs from the case. Sounds like you are trying to screw the mainboard directly to the case.
In the old days this would have resulted in a blown board the second you put power to it.
These days there is built in detection which is why it doesn't start up.

And make sure that you only install motherboard standoffs to align with screw holes in the motherboard.

i got all the standoffs in, and all the screws in the standoffs. their just a little shaky. do you all think this is the problem? should i reinstall them to a better fit? and what do you think about my motherboard is it fired if it light up?
