Networking XP/98se with a switch

how do i configure both network settings, one computer running win98 and the other running xp, so that each computer will appear in the other's network neighborhood/network places? i am using a ethernet fast switch only with no router.

XP does not load NETBUI by default...insert XP and go to add ons and select it...you will then be able to connect...
