I've just connected my XP machine to one running ME. Both computers can see eachother OK - though mine seems to think the other is a 95 workstation??. Also I tried opening a few games that previously worked, they work on mine and keep crashing the ME machine...Please Help

Not sure what the question is....
If your games are crashing, what type of game? If it's a network game, and you installed the same copy on both, be aware that the software code is different for XP than for ME.
Maybe start a new post and let us know exactly what your question is...
