networking problems

CPU/Ram: pentium 4

On my network how do i let one user acess one file and the other user not to be able to acess the same file.I know how to get one user to acess the file but i do not know how to block the second computer.

There are two steps:

1) Open Folder Options in the control panel, click the View tab, and scroll down to the very bottom. Make sure "use simple file sharing" is UNCHECKED. Click OK

2) Right click, properties on the folder you want to share. Click the sharing tab, and you should see a button for setting permissions. Remove "Everyone" and add the individual users you want to have access. (I'm assuming you know all the usernames.)
