basically i have a wireless router ready for broadband netgear dg834. While i'm waiting to be broadband enebled i'd thought i'd try to set up a home network.
unfortuantely the two machines cannot see each other. view workgroup computers tells me the network is not accessable or i do not have permissions. my network places brings up a blank screen.
however i can ping the machines from each other and can ping the router. this is the case both with firewall's enabled and disabled.
any ideas would be appreciated thanks simon
