This isn't really a XP problem, but since that's what I have installed then I'll askit here. Everytime I shutdown the computer for a while (last night is was off for 7 hours) and when I then start the computer the network settings are gone. So I have to write in the ip, gateway etc. settings again. Also I have a NetGear FA311 network card, but the shutdown it says in the control panel that it is a National Semiconductors bla bla bla.. It works though. And also, sometimes after a shutdown start it changes the resolution to 800x600 automaticly.. It's pretty annoying.
Anyone know any solutions then I will be most happy.
