network issue

I have home network with two computers one xp one xp pro. I want to access cd drive on one computer from the other. I map the cd drive, but get access denied, not enough server storage available to process this command once the drive is mapped. How do I get access to this drive? Sharing is turned on, and the drive maps as z:

Apparently this could be a service pack error..My first suggestion would be to re share all drives check share permissions if you have no joy there then run an sfc /scannow from the command prompt. Still if no joy then remove both service packs from the systems(if you have any on them- if you do not then apply from windows update)and re-apply them.
(Tip) Make sure you share from the Windows Pro
If you can install XP pro on both systems
