does anyone have any info on a network installation of Windows XP Pro. My CD rom drive on my notebook is dead so I dont have access to a cd rom drive save on another laptop or computer. I am in the belief that one could also install win XP by using a hub and multiple computers aka a "network install"

I think it would be easier getting a new cd rom drive. You have to set up a special server to serve the files to your machine after you get your machine ready to download the file off of the server. Unless you have a couple of partitions on your hard drive right now. You could copy the files off of the network using windows you have right now. Then I'm thinking that you could download the 6 floppy's, usually people use these if they have a cd-rom drive that is not bootable. Anyway you could use them and point them to the set up file on the other partition. I've never done this, but it is what I would do.
