use static IP addresses.

the computer connecting to t-mobile should have these settings:

IP: 192.168.0.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

the other computer should have the following settings:

IP: 192.168.0.2
subnet: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.0.1

preferred DNS server: 192.168.0.1

Install and Configure Internet Connection Sharing on the computer that has the mobile phone connected. Then set the other computer to obtain IP address automatically.

Internet Connection Sharing will then act as a bridge between the Mobile phone on the USB connection and the Ethernet connection behaving in a similar way to a router, but in software instead of hardware.
