How so? Did you view the log file to see what the problem may be? Did you look elsewhere on the MSKB?

To provide help in this scenario, i.e. Homenetworking troubleshoot, all should be in the same page.

In the original message or subsequent posts there has been no mention of the type of networking, the type of Internet access and the devices involved in the LAN and WAN to suggest the cause and cure of the problem.

Unless we have had the exact error message, it will be very hard to offer help without a lot of guesswork of the setup and often it is a hit or miss thing.

I get the same message as Andrew, i.e. "ICS failed to share 1394 connection as a private connection"

I have a cable modem connected to a D-Link wireless router. Before I perform the Network Wizard, I have disabled the software firewalls I have running. When I run the Network wizard, I have a choice of "local area connection", "triad.rr.com", and "1394 connection". I choose the "local area connection". I have also tried disabling the 1394 net adapter.

The two computers can ping each other.

The entire nsw.log is:
Network Setup Wizard Log
Attempting to set computer name
Old computer name is the same as new computer name - not setting.
Setting server description (comment): Main Desktop
Attempting to set workgroup name
Workgroup name is the same as the old one - not setting.
Will attempt to share public connection.
Will attempt to firewall public connection.
NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Controller Shared Public for ICS configuration.
Internet Connection Firewall Enabled on NVIDIA nForce MCP Networking Controller.
ICS Failed to Share 1394 Connection 3 as a Private connection.
Adapter Configuration for Home Networking failed.
Shared Printer: Microsoft Office Document Image Writer
Shared Printer: Canon PIXMA iP5000

Any suggestions?
