network driver help

Specs: Windows XP
i need someone to please walk me through downloading network drivers and burning them to cd. I need to install them on a second comp. that has no internet due to a re-install of windows xp. i download the drivers from dell but then they won't copy to burn. i'm lost anyone willing and able to help over the phone if i gave them my number please???

I just was on the Dell site and downloaded the drivers to my desktop for the 280. I then sent them to a jump drive with success. It took all of 3 minutes. Is your D drive your cd burner? I don't understand why you're having so much of a problem burning them to a disk. Try this. On the nonworking machines, boot to the desktop. Right click on My Computer and select Properties. Next click the hardware tab and select Device manager. If you see yellow exclamation marks in front of the devices, right click and select update drivers. You may need the XP disk handy if it asks for it.
