Hi all, I have set up a Network drive and enabled the option to "Reconnect at Login." I put a shortcut on the desktop, yet everytime I reboot and double click the icon, it says "Incorrect password or unknown username for: ****** " I put in the password and it connects. I am sure that I have not typed in the password wrong, as I've re-typed it in, in addition to someone else trying this out first. ANy help will be helpful!

Did you setup the mapping to use the same username and password that you're using to login to the computer?

Login to which computer?
The computer I am on right now has no password. I was given the username and password to use to access the drive that I would like to map and have open on startup. I don't know if it is a username and password for just the drive or the entire computer. Is that what you are asking? I'll try and find that out. Thanks for the quick response!

This is normal behavior. If you're using one login for your computer and another to map the shared network drive, then you will indeed have to authenticate each time you access it after logging into your computer. This is to prevent unauthorized access to the shared drive.
