I have XP corp. and I am logged on as administrator. I want to show the connection icon in the task tray whenever I log onto the net. It NEVER works. Each time I have to go to connection properties and recheck the box to show the icon in the tray. I have also gone into taskbar properties and selected to show the icon all the time. Still does not work-- as soon as I log off, the icon disapears and never comes back unless I manually retrieve it. Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

I have heard too many hooror stories about sp1. Does anyone know which individual update will fix this problem, and can point me in the direction to get it. This is really my only problem with XP, so I don't want to risk installing sp1.
