Is anybody having a similar problem? My 3COM network card used to work in the lsat build of Windows XP. When I installed the Build 500, the Network card is detected but has the exclamation mark on it. I can't uninstall it or rollback. Sometimes upon reboot, it is detected as an "Ethernet Controller" with an exclamation mark. After a minute of background detection, it detects the 3COM card and even installs a driver but still doesn't work.

I've tried a DLINK and Farallon card and still the same problem! I'm sure it is the new build of Windows XP because it used to work on the previous build.

I downloaded the 2 disk set of 3C905BTX and couldn't figure out how to tell Win XP to update using those drivers. It doesn't seem to "browse" that folder and find the drivers.

What next?
