Netscape problem

Hi, I am a new Windows XP user, and I installed Netscape 7.1 on my machine. Thus far I've had no problems, but lately, every time I start the program, it asks me for user information (as though I had never entered anything before) and all my bookmarks gone! Any ideas?

Is your system restore turned on. If so pick a restore point, before the problem started. You can read all about it at this link. Its a good idea to turn it on if it is off.

ya win XP system restore is a good and a bad idea all together.
One of the problems you'll see with it enabled is if you ever get a virus, and it stays on the system for any lenght of time, you can bet it will embedd itself in the restore file, so then you have to clear it out there as well.
however for someone who doesnt ever backup there system and has enough space, it can be useful if they accidently delete that "one" file that's important ;)

Another netscape problem, i cant seem to get into yahoo games or any other game sites. hmm.. what i mean by it is that, when i get to the yahoo game site, the java loading takes ages and i doubt its actually loading anything whatsoever!!! i didnt have this problem only til recently. i gave up using IE because of pop ups! any suggestions appreciated...
