Hi, have a USB Netgear DG32 ADSL Modem Router. It is setup right and is recognised in device manager.

Thing is every time I plug it in it forces the computer to reboot, then when the computer starts up again it reboots.

If I remove the router and reboot the computer works fine.

What could be the problem?

have you tried it on a different computer? any other usb devices causing trouble? which version of XP? service packs installed?
