Can anyone please help?
When in the command prompt, if i use the nbtstat -a prompt it brings up host not found. i can understand this if it is an ip i am trying to connect to that has not got file and print sharing enabled, but when i use the command nbtstat -a 127.0.0.1, which should bring up my own information, i still get the smae host not found message.

It should look like this nbtstat -A "IP OF OTHER COMPUTER HERE" If you are trying to see the active connections on your computer type this in. netstat. to see an anvanced list type netstat -a.
