what is this? why do i have 1 2 3 variety CRT, CA , WINFORMS,PRE XP,and many more installed as software i assume running because this is all in my add or remove software on my computer. please can someone tell me along w/ i got a dozen HOTFIX????

You probably have all these installed because you have automatic updates enabled. If you are happy to let Msoft install whatever they want on your system then by all means leave windows update on automatic. Personally, I don't.
