nero locking up in XP

Anyone familiar with NERO locking up after writing a CD? What happens is that it will actually complete writing, but at the very end the program locks up and renders the CD worthless. It used to work fine until I had to replace the hard drive. If not, anyone know of any good resources on problems w/NERO? thanks

Had the same problem try uninstaling nero and then install.

Hay i had the smae problem to. The thing was i installed win xp sp1 and then i couldnt burn @ 24x and did the same my cdrw was lite on. So please tell us what cdrw u got and what speed u burn @ the way i fixed it was that my cdrw company had a patch to fix this problem it was afirmware

Happened to me using Nero 5.5 had to first d/l the update software paq for XP from Ahead (the Nero site) then it ran fine. in order to test it, use a CD-RW and burn a small image....like 4-5 Mb. if it burns that, it will burn a whole disk. also disable the built in burn capabilities of XP
