Hello all

I am kind of stuck using nero to burn my data DVD's using sony external dvd writer. The burn process in nero for data dvd's goes ok until the USED READ BUFFER goes back from 100% to 0% and then again from 0% to 100% and at that moment my data dvd's burning process freezes at whatever process status( like it was done 70% but when buffer value became from 0 to 100 again, it froze at 70%).

I bought a new usb 2.0 pcmcia card for my laptop to make the dvd burner faster but nero is stuck in between.

If anyone can help, I will really appreciate

Thanks in advance.(I use a laptop to hook my dvd burner with usb2.0 DLink pcmcia card).

Ok its real confusing after reading it ten times, but the USED READ BUFFER is acting normally. On my pc it does 50% to 100% back to 0% etc. Nero has a real prob for that but i cant figure out your problem

Mod it till it bleeds

Reboot first.
Let Nero info tool scan your dvd drive, with disk inserted for burning.
Use Nero rom. DVD-Rom iso in left tree.
Select new. Use right tree to navigate, right click on folders or files, and "add to compilation".

I prefer -R, +R always gets the, "Disk finished." Yet the lead out is just begun.

Also if laptop IS only USB 1.1, you may never resolve the issue. Try burning at 2x or 4x.
Disks to use...
Ritek
Verbatim
Pro Disk
Taiyo Yuden

Good Deal Nanda. A good video man knows to reboot after a major job, before a burn.
