Nero 6 won't burn 700mb cds ??

I can't get nero 6 to burn any cd's that are 700mb or close. When I install the old 5.5 it burns them with no problems. It only asks to finalize the cd and then its off and running. I have a liteon 52x cdrw with the laters firmware. This is really messed up but nero 6 sucks if it can't do what the older version can do? Thought anyone?

I'm sorry I don't know what your problem is. Nero 6 has no trouble burning 700mb cd's, That's all I use.
Possibly an uninstall/reinstall of Nero will fix the problem.

I use Nero 6 and burn 99min cdr's without any problem, have you looked at 'preferences' 'expert features' and enabled 'Overburn'

make sure nero is burning with your burner ,nero 6 by default try's to burn image only .this happened to me ,when i first tryed to burn with nero 6 .on the main menu it will let you chose.

Dave is right, Nero 6 does handle 700mb cds a little different than Nero 5.5.xx did. If you try to burn a whole 700 megs to a cd Nero will tell you that you need a larger cd. Take it down to around to 690 megs and Nero should burn it for you.
Nero 5.5.xx gives a warning when you try to burn 700 megs. It says something like in order to burn the cd it will have to be finalized. Nero 6 doesn't give this warning. Hope they fix that soon.
