Hi,
For all the Nero users, have you experienced any issues after their latest update? You know how you can play the wave file in Nero before you burn the CD? Well, I tried playing the files and I received a CD Burning error message that said something about a hardware problem. I uninstalled Nero but haven't installed it yet as I am going to use Media Player 10 in the interim. I realized that the last thing I did with Nero was that I ran the updates last week. I'm curious is anyone else had this problem?
Thanks,
Veets

Lots of problems with the NERO update... For example they have taken away all choices for audio format when recording DVD and left us with LPCM format only... good format but not very compressible. It will add 1/2 a gig to a recorded movie thereby lessoning the room for the video.
I just said in a previous post...If everything works then it's best not to play with updates!

Hi Bill,
Thanks so much for the reply. So my choices are to either install Ultra 6 and not install the updates, or go back to NTI or even Roxio. They both have new versions out but I will have to read up on them.
Thanks again!

Hi Bill,
Nero E-mailed me back yesterday and advised that they just released a new update the other day. I re-installed Nero and then ran the updates. It seems to be working fine. I did have an issue with InCD before running the updates. When I rebooted, Microsoft's error page came up where it asks you to send the error report. When I clicked send, their website came up advising there was an error with InCD and tha I should go to Nero's site to run the update. I did and now it seems to be working fine.
Thanks again for your help.
