Nero 6 hangs everytime for DVD-R

Hello, I am trying to use Nero 6.0 to burn DVDs.
Everytime I try, it hangs after burning the leadin and I have to hard reboot. The task manager says the application is running, but it isn't doing anything (not using cpu).
I can't kill the nero.exe (or Norton AV or Zone Alarm for that matter, I disable these items when burning but don't shut them down).
I Did NOT install InCD at all. I have set the IMAPI service to 'Manual' start.
