need WEP key for blackberry

I have recently purchased a blackberry curve 3g i am unable to connect it too my reutor as i need a WEP key.

Can you help.

You're going to have to ask the person that configured the router & setup the WEP password.

Yes, you have to either ask the person who set up the router for the password, or go into the firmware through a desktop or laptop computer, and search for a Wi-Fi password.

Or possibly look at the label on the back/base of the router (if you've never changed it)

Your router or modem ought to have a web based way to access the settings. Usually you go to a computer and find IP address. Then use either that number with the last set as 1 or use 0. But if someone changed it, it could be a stinker to find.

Wep keys may be in one of two forms also. Some use a phrase to generate codes and others use codes.
