Im running an accounts program and someone has now restored it to a previous date and then backed it up, replacing the original backup!!! SO i have lost all the accounts that I had put in!!!!! The backup file is *.ACC and I have tried using 'Active@undelete' but with no success. Any suggestions on how to recover the overwritten file will be much appreciated...
By the way the author never posted back so I don't know if he succeed.

The only recourse here is along the path you are already on since it was a file that was overwritten, if the data is worth a couple of $$$$, try GetDataBack from RUNTIME and hope for the best. I have used both variants (FAT & NTFS) of the programs and it saved my bacon in those instances. Goodluck !!!!!
