hi, i have a problem with a member of staff viewing porn but i cannot take any action without evidence. i can see what he has been looking at in the history but i dont know how to print it in a list format if this cant be done can anyone recomend any programs that are free to download that record sites and times visited that is layed out exeptionally easy to understand? thanks

What you need is a program which will find and print the URLs stored in the index.dat files. These files keep a history of where the computer's been, and are not deleted by the normal methods of cleaning temp files and cookies.
Check out Index.dat viewer for a peek at the files. I'm not sure this program will print the files, but I'm sure there are some that do. Click here and scroll down the page. The program is free.

Even if that program won't print you can always take a screendump and paste it in word. Print from there.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
Teach him to fish and you feed him for life.

Heres what you need to do what you desire,
Under all these free tools, look for directory printer.

Now if it is really important and you want to know everything they are doing on that computer then I suggest buying spectorsoft. Heres their website.

Hello, I been behind the scene a bit. Thanks

You do not need any program to print History.
1. Display History on the screen the way you want to see it.
2. Hit the PrtScrn/SysRq key on your keyboard.
3. Open MS Paint
4. Then do PASTE
5. Then do Print.

Only thing wrong with that is it prints the whole page and uses a lot of ink because its actually printing a jpeg. The directory printer is so simple and a one step process. But yes there are many ways to do what you want.

Of course you could just arrange to meet the CEO (or similar) at his workstation while he's actually viewing it...
That should work quite well too :D
If at 1st you don't succeed...
Hit it with a big stick

Use a monitoring program.
Go to http://Iopus.com
purchase Actmon monitor. I use this to monitor 7 users at work.. It works great.. the logs can be transfered via LAN or email. Or you can save the logs on the pc it self.
It creates a different log for each user so there is no sorting out who did what.
