Did YOU ever get the patch. I had the same problem and discovered it was an LSASS.exe file rather than an ISASS.exe file only after the Micro$oft support office was closed. I have Restored my WinXPee once already (along with 4 hours of software installed on the new box) and do now want to Restore a second time and install software a third time if I can not be assured that it will NOT happen again. (And how big is Bill Gate's house?) And how do I use the patch in the first place?
Did you get your machine fixed or did you switch to a Mac or Linux?
