need some serious help

I have a freecom 2 parallel cd-rw (external) and i just got the nero burning rom disc and i have installed it to my pc. Now the problem is that i am starting to produce my own music and want to put my tracks onto cd insted of casset tape to be more profesional. But the re-writer does not show up as an (f)drive or anything, major bummer. Is there any body out there tha can help me! Much appreciated.

First make sure ur RW is installed correctly, to check this, go to control panel, the click system, then goto hardware devices and check the CD-RW is listed there. A friend of mine had a similar prob, nero wouldnt burn or find his rw , he tried using a program called " easy cd creator" give that a whirl.

if u want to place your own voice unto a cd-r I suggest MusicMatch.
U just need: a digital or analog recorder <--u can buy at wal mart and MusicMatch
Hopefully u can figure it out after u u plug the recorder to your computer
