Need rundll32.exe for XP!!!!

I'm losing my mind trying to find rundll32.exe!
I can't find my Windows CD anywhere, and when I tried to download rundll32.exe from this site http://p-nand-q.com/download/rundll32.html (please note that I am NOT bashing this website, it is great.), my computer still said it could not find the file.

I've searched the web until my eyes burned, looking for help with this. I know someone out there can be of assistance...or at least is going through a similar situation.

Do a search via google using:

rundll32.exe for XP

as the string/term and you'll get all sorts of info re' it. I seem to recall there are various reasons why you get error messages about this dll. Can't recall them all just now and I don't have the files/info to hand... So a search by you may one way to resolve it?

I need rundll32.exe for windows 98 because i deleted it a long time ago because it brought up an error thing at the start of my computerr and now i cant play my mp3s...what do i do?

Might have been wiser to post this one fresh - and in the '98 forum; still as you're here...

To restore missing (or replace damaged) files in '98 use the sfc (system file checker) util.
