Need Phoenix BIOS update

Hi this has been done before,but I need this Phoenix BIOS update because my current one cannot boot from a cd.Also the other day my CPU was at 56 degrees,was that because i was on it for a while or is it the fan?Any way why can't I boot from a cd?In Everest Home Edition the only boot devices for the bios is Hard Drive and Floppy Disk.Please Help.

A couple of points need to be made. First I believe you just are not setting the boot order correctly or there is something wrong with the drive or the configuration.

Second, stating you need a Phoenix BIOS update is like saying you need a Ford engine. There are many different ones and they are not usually interchangable. You need to get the EXACT bios file and installer for your EXACT MBoard, including version. Failure to do so will usually result in an inoperable MBoard.

Read you manual to find out how to set the boot order.
