What version of IE are you using?
What SP level of XP are you at?

See if this helps:

How do I get the IE service pack to load up if I can't get the computer to boot up???

I'm running XP with the latest service pack available (religious about updates etc...)
Running IE 8 (I think), because that was what Qwest (ISP) offered to upgrade a few months back.

Does this help any???
