just installed ad-aware and ran it finding 18 critical objects and sent them to quarintine what do i do with them now also it asked for file name (which i didn,d do) so what do i do now?? thanks in advance

You can delete everything in quarantine. Click quarantine on main panel.Highlight the quarantine and click next. You will be asked if you want to delete. If you were asked for a filename,then you probably tried to save something, which you probably have no need to do with the scum ad-aware found

I wouldn't delete anything too fast before finding if the PC will function properly after the removal. You may also try Spybot S&D Make sure to up-date it before using it. 1-Check for problems 2-Fix Problems 3-Immunize The two spyware finders work great together. If the item has been in quarantine for several days and the computer is behaving as it should, there is no reason not to delete the quarantine item. There is no reason to keep crap lying around taking up space. Regarding any 'scum' removal application.... If you don't know what the item is, do a search to give you some information. You can nearly always find out what the item pertains to. You then have to choose if you can remove it.
