I am hoping to find some help. The other day I went to a web page and got a virus. When I boot the computer with the wireless card connecting it to the internet, NAV 2004 detects this virus, which has corrupted a file on my system called cssre.exe. NAV deletes it, but then when I go to run a full system scan, whenever the scan (using also other tools like Ad-Aware or even searching in Windows Explorer) hits a directory somewhere in c:\Documents and Settings\Username\... or C:\Windows I get a page fault error and the machine crashes. If I boot up in Safe mode or with the wireless card pulled out, it boots up fine, NAV doesn't find the corrupted file, and scans using these tools don't find anything wrong. What am I missing? Is it a corrupted dll that NAV just doesn't see? Any experience and/or help with this would be greatly appreciated.
