I need some help interpreting this and I need to know if there is anything I need to do. My machine was on but offline. I was going to reboot and sign on but changed my mind and decided to just sign on. I entered my password got up and left machine. I came back about a minute later and my machine had rebooted and I got this error message Your System has recovered from a serious error, minidump files and sysdata files involved ( not exact but close} I went to event viewer and found this..... "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000007f {0x00000008, 0x80042000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000. A dump was saved in C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini110202-01.dump} Thanks Helen

this problem usually occurs due to faulty memory or videocard.check both for their proper functionality.well, check the software you have installed in recent past so that might be incompatible with ur OS.it done so..i advise you to go to a restore point before the installation of software .hope this solves ur problem. wahab
