When running Win Doctor in Norton Systemworks, I am coming up with an error The Key "CLSID ({00020075-0000-C000-00000000046} Default Icon refers to a missing icon, "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\updates\0,

I went ahead and uninstalled and then reinstalled Firefox (plus update) hoping that would take care of the problem but I don't think it has.

I have rerun Norton and get the same answer. I suspect that I may have picked up some malware when downloading some themes for Style XP. I did run Spybot and cleaned everything it found. Ran it again and it showed the computer was clean.

I've update my Norton and ran a complete virus scan and it doesn't show anything.

I would sure appreciate all suggestions. I just finished building this computer and I sure don't want to have to deal with this problem.

Thanks again!

I am sorry but having dumped Norton system works some time ago as their products are only average at best, bloated and slow down most systems, I would have a tendency to look at it as a false positive. If you uninstall firefox and delete everything in folder which it states to do, than re-install and also install their backup program as well I don't believe the error should be there.

Your efforts were completely un-necessary.
Win Doctor finds mistakes in the Registry - some of them are due to uninstall programs that do not completely remove all traces of a program, some are from shutting down the computer before Windows has shut down or from program errors, some are because someone deleting something instead of un-installing it, but some are just mistakes in the original programming - e.g. all the above message says is there is an icon missing! When you un-installed then re-installed Firefox, all you did was confirm that error in the original programming - it is harmless!
The more programs you have on your computer, the more likely there will be some of these small errors in the original programming that produce errors in the Registry that Win Doctor finds!
Read each of the errors Win Doctor finds - if it refers to one or a few missing icons or files or programs it is often only these programming errors, and you can just delete the entry in the Registry.
If it finds a large number of files related to, and and references to, a program missing, it is probably due to someone deleting files instead of ininstalling a program - you can just delete the entries in the Registry.
In fact, I have had no problems deleting nearly every error entry in the Registry Win Doctor finds, and doing so will make your computer run a little better. If you're not sure what the description means, Skip it and go to the next one!

How do you know if a program you installed produced errors in the Registry?
Run Win Doctor right after you install the program successfully - any errors found to do with that program are probably due to errors in its programming.
