Hi. I'm using Zone Alarm fire wall. I have NVIDIA 5700LE. I also have upgraded to Winamp 5. I use a form of Dc++ called i2hub(its for students). I am mentioning all this because it may have something to do with the fact that I keep getting blue crash screens and for some reason it says that "PSCHED.SYS" has a problem. This happens every few hours and I think it also might be causing my computer to not start up correctly from time to time, but then the logon does go back to normal. Please help me fix this problem. looks like a corrupt windows xp system file. try system restore or re-install xp. GOODLUCK! Half Life 2 kicks ass

System restore "repair" to be precise this way you won't lose any files.

hi pplz i have read above mentioned topics , actually my problem is a lil strange. I had problems with a software uninstallation in windows xp pro , so i used system restore , but the checkpoint that i used in system restore was about 15 days old. when system rebooted after system restore operation , the "blue screen of death" was there, and since then i have tried every option in F8 menu but have been unable to start my pc in Winxp, i have win98 as second os installed so i am being able to post this message. I have servicepack2 installed on xp , i believe that when i restored system , some system files might have been corrupted. so its due to system restore , that i have blue screen of death. any help plz , may be a manual restoring technich?
