I have lost IE, due to a virus and in the meantime, I am using Mozilla Firefox to get online. I cannot figure out how to save images to disk using this browser. When I right click and click "save image as", it will not allow me to save it in the format it is in. I use a program called Paint Shop Pro to make graphic images. Once you make them, you save them as a gif or as a jpg, depending on the image. The only way Mozilla will let me save images someone else has made for me at a PSP board I belong to is as a PSP file. The image will not display or work correctly if I save it like that, esp. if it is a gif. Does anyone know how I can fix this or do this with Mozilla? Thanks for any and all help.

There must be something in your settings that's preventing you from saving the files as you wish.
Firefox has been my browser of choice for about 18months now using the default settings and never had the problem you mention.

This is very confusing, how is it a .gif if it is a PSP file? Does it work right with Internet Explorer? Can you give a link to an example so we can see what you are talking about?
Usually the picture is what the website sends to you, to look at with your browser. When you right click it and it says "save as" it will save as whatever the website sends. A browser does not convert it from one type of file to another, that I'm aware of.
