need help uninstall mcafee

hi,
i wanted to uninstalled mcafee service center in my comp. when i go to add/remove program, it told me that "in order to uninstall McAfee security center, you need to uninstall all mcafee service first"

and i already uninstall everything in the add/remove programs file that has McAfee..(virus scan, spam block.. blah blah) but i still go the same msg. please help...

McAfee is incredibly difficult to uninstall. You may find detailed instructions on their web site, and even then you might not get it all.

Run search for mcafee through all your hard drives .

Look for any folders with the name MCAFEE, VIRUSSCAN and NETWORK ASSOCIATES. Right-click on each of these folders, then click Delete.

Then search the same in the registry .

If I'm not mistaken, you have to go to the McAfee website and find the directions to uninstall their product
