I can't host in Empire Earth. Normaly I can host but now we have a wireless network router (SiteCom Wireless Network Broadband Router 100g+) and Norton internet security 2005. I hope you can helpe me! I want play again.

coz of the firewall in the router, find out which ports the game needs for connections and open them in the router

alternate option if you do not want your computer to be firewalled you can log into your router and set the ip adress that your router assigns to your computer to be the DMZ.. this will allow all ports to be open as if you werent using a router at all

I found this info of the game. Only i don't know how I open the ports in the router.
Empire Earth
33334 UDP
33335 TCP

I don't know the details of the SiteCom router but what you probably want is the section about Virtual Servers. Specifiy the required ports and your IP address (your LAN IP that is - something like 192.168.xxx.yyy probably. It should all be in the manual. If you don't have the manual you can download it from the SiteCom web site.

I need this info. Only I dont know how I can find this info.
Incoming port
Protocol TCP
UDP
ALL
Destination IP
Destination portOn incoming ports & protocol found
Empire Earth
33334 UDP
33335 TCPNow I need to know The destination IP & port

Destination port is same as incoming port.
The IP you found is NOT the one you want - what you found is the routers IP (otherwise called your "WAN" IP - this is the IP that is assigned by your ISP and is used by the router to talk to the rest of the world. You, hiding behind the router, have a LAN IP assigned BY the the router - typically it will start 192.168... (though perhaps some routers use a different range). To locate it open Network Settings, select Local Area Connection and the click the "Support" tab. The IP displayed there is the one you need to use to tell the router to forward packets to your machine.
For example: packets arrive at the router from the internet addressed to 17.123.157.90 port 33335 (the router) and you want the router to forward them to 192.168.123.456 port 33335 (your machine).

i heve add this settings to the router but it stil does'nt work in the game.
Source port/Protocol Destination/IP Destination/port
33334 udp 192.168.1.254 33334
33335 tcp 192.168.1.254 33335

Check that packets are not also being blocked by your firewall and check your router documentation for any other information (generally router docs will include specific help for this subject since it is a frequent question).
I can think of no other suggestions myself not knowing the details of your router. If you still have problems I suggest you repost the question here detailing what steps you have taken so far. This question has now slipped onto page two and its unlikely that anyone will read it when it is this far down the list. Reposting will put it back at the top where someone new may see it and be able to help :-)
