I use HostsXpert with the MVP host file
to eliminate the crap from getting in.
You can also add sites to it.

My pages load faster, spyware scanners
don't find anything.

A must have for anyone who randomly surfs
the internet without SiteAdvisor.

These kind of browser hijacker malware can be rather sticky and require specialised removal techniques.

WW is spot on... for personalised malware removal your best shot is to post the problem in the security and virus forum.

The info you have provided here is substantial and will get you some positive responses.

Actually I found that this web site that refused to stop appearing was diectly related to a application listed in my Windows Explorer under program files called one step ? I looked in the add/remove programs in the control panel and there it was ,I uninstalled it using the add/remove utility in control panel ,and thankfully its gone ! How I happen to have this app installed on my PC is a mystery to me ? However for now all is good !
Take Care Nick
