Need Hcf Conexant modem driver for winXP

I have a serious problem with my Hcf Conexant SoftK56 Data,Fax,Speakerphone PCI Modem. My windows 2000 driver is not good for windows XP and with default driver provides by Win XP the modem is not working properly. Can anybody help me?

I need Hcf Conexant PCI modem driver for winXP too!!! The XP built-in driver for "HCF modem" works, but with reduced speed (37.2kbps). Other built-in drivers dont'work! Can anybody help me?

Generic softK56 can work, but the connection sound won't turn off, very disturbance and noisy
is there any other driver

Right - Problem solved - hurrah! For anyone having problems with any old modem based on the Conexant HSF or HCF chipsets that are no longer supported my the vendor, you will be glad to know that Conexant have released a Generic HSF & HCF driver for 95/98/Me/2K. Despite the warning of an immediate hardware/system failure, XP has be talked into using this driver and my modem now works fine. Woohoo.The drivers can be found through here:

Try using Fujitsu LB RWModem v90.56k J driver supplied on WinXP CD (in generic drivers list not Fujitsu). I have a contexant modem and after going through about 10 different drivers from the net this one finally worked.

i had an identical problem - the driver installed by windows xp did not work. win 2000 driver did not work either. i solved the problem by using the 'GENERIC SOFTK 56' driver provided by windows xp itself, without the need for any extra modem settings.

I am also the unhappy owner of a conexant modem "WS-5614PM3CGW" and like everybody else the right XP driver was a problem.Thx to "cool" and "kingpinner" now all is OK. The only one driver to work is the generic Fujitsu LB RWModem V.9056K E.

Hello friends, I found a drive for conexant soft 56 data fax modem for window xp. I am using this modem and it is working good with this modem. This is not the exact driver, but it is working good without any error.
