I googled the model number & it appears to be an OEM board used in Packard Bell computers. Did you check the Packard Bell website for drivers?

yes i,ve tried everywhere including Packard Bell themselves, but all to no avail. i,ve even purchased and installed DriverGenius and it gives me the driver name and number but i can,t get it to download from their databank so i have tried everywhere else since. thanks for your help.

"i,ve even purchased and installed DriverGenius"

That was a complete waste of money. If you can't find the drivers at Pack-Bell (did you go to the legacy drivers site?) then all you need to do is identify the chips used on the motherboard then go to the individual manufacturer driver sites.

SiS chipset? Go to the SiS website.
Realtek audio & LAN? Go to the Realtek site.
Get the idea? It's not rocket science.

Here's the Pack-Bell legacy drivers site:

You need to know what you're looking for. I sure don't. You never bothered to tell us the model of your Pack-Bell. You need to click thru the series of folders until you find the driver you need. > DESKTOP > iMedia (2004-2005) > Driver > Xp

I guessed at iMedia (2004-2005). Once you get to the XP folder, you need to know which driver because there are dozens available. Or you could have just gone to the SiS website.
