computer crashed had to put win98se in it can't find all the drivers for sound,video, cd-rom plus a lot of other drivers

Well, since all the drivers for each device on your computer will most likely not exist on a Windows 98 Second Edition CD, you will need to find the drivers yourself for each device on your computer. It can be a complicated and tedious process if you do not know the names and models of each device on your computer. So what you have to do is find the name and model of each device that does not have a driver for it on your Windows 98, and use google to find the drivers for them individually. You might have to open up your tower to find the names and models. Alternatively, you may look at this page to aid in your search for drivers.

Probably the easiest way is to go to the Gateway web site with your model number.

Unless you have changed the hard drive or deleted all the partitioning, there should be a hidden partition with a recovery image that has all the drivers built in.
