Do you mean you want to download the Novell client for xp? If so, go to novell.com>click on download and select the client for the version of Windows you're using. Otherwise can you explain your question?

to donaldk -- thanks! i need client service for netware in order to connect to the network of my university. if novell downloads will work in the place of microsoft stuff then let me know because i'll just do that. but otherwise, if there's a way that i can get the microsoft version, i'd really like to do that because i can't sign onto the network without it.

Since you're at a university, they should have a network administrator who can assist you. There is a Microsoft client for Netware. You have to go to the network properties and add it.

Go to the control panel, pick on add/remove programs, next pick on add/remove windows components, check the box next to networking and have your Windows CD in the CD-Rom. Pick apply, this will set up a Microsoft Netware Network for you.
