Hey guys

I'd like a script that scans a folder (and all subfolders) for video files and creates an ASX playlist of the results. Alternatively a script that scans the windows media player library, returns the file paths of videos with genre "mtv" and writes these to an ASX file.

The output has to be ASX because MCE2005 doesn't support video playlists (WPL etc) but will play ASX files that contain videos. I want the script to run at startup and create (replace) the ASX file silently.

If anyone can write this off the top of their head then great, but I have some coding experience so pointers and hints would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Dave
